Awarding of “Poznaj Dobrą Żywność” (Try Fine Food) label.

P.P. BIEGPOL Grażyna Biegańska was granted Try Fine Food label as a first mushroom producer in Poland. Over twenty years of experience in the market of fresh mushrooms, vegetables and fruits and efforts to keep the highest quality of white and brown mushrooms produced in up-do-date facilities were reflected in and proved by the label granted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

In spring this year we started preparations to gain the Try Fine Food label.  After filing an extensive documentation we were invited to present our products in the office of the Minister of Agriculture. From the very first contact, the chapter of the Ministry was delighted by high quality of our products, the way of packaging and presenting the mushrooms. For some people who take part in assessment, brown mushroom was quite a new thing. The first impression, which our mushrooms made, and evaluation of taste qualities were decisive in issuing positive opinion on both white and brown mushrooms.

At the moment we are waiting for a final administrative decision, which will allow us to label our products in a specific way – says Magdalena Biegańska, Managing Director in  P.P.  BIEGPOL, in an interview for TVP1.

Increasing number of consumers make sensible choices while purchasing food. “Try Fine Food” label boosts the standing of product, and makes it outstanding from other ones. It provides the confirmation signal to the consumer that he/she reaches for a healthy product of a highest quality, the whole manufacturing process of which undergoes strict inspections from the selection of high quality raw materials, through the technological process to collection, packaging and labelling at the end.

We are happy about the distinction of our products. We are a relatively young producer with 10 years of experience. Obtaining a positive opinion from the Chapter proves that production of mushrooms of the highest quality and putting every effort to have an always fresh, tasty and, above all, healthy product pay off – emphasizes M. Biegańska.

Official granting of the Try Fine Food Label took place on 8 August 2011 in Warsaw in the TVP2  show: „Kocham Cię Polsko”. Minister Sawicki personally awarded the certificates. Grażyna Biegańska received the certificate on behalf of P.P. BIEGPOL.
